Grab your beach chair, your suntan oil, and your favorite drink, and get ready for a trip to the islands.  For more than 20 years, Jimmy and the Parrots have been playing to delighted crowds all over the United States and as far a south as St. Kitts in the Caribbean and as far north as Ontario in Canada!  They have been a featured band at the annual Meeting of the Minds (a gathering of Jimmy Buffett fans) since 1999.  Their Key West performances also included well-known venues such as the Rick’s Café, Sloppy Joe’s, Schooner Wharf, the Smokin' Tuna Saloon and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.  Our fans love to travel with us!  In January 2005, over 80 fans traveled with the band for the first-ever “Yeamon Tour” which included performances at Beaches Boscobel Resort as well as Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville in Ocho Rios.   Since 2010, over 1,000 fans have joined us on our popular biennial Yeamon Cruises where the band has performed numerous shows both on- and off-board, including performances at Senor Frogs in Nassau, Bahamas, and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville in both Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos, and Cozumel, Mexico.  The band has two CDs of original tunes, “Better Than New” and “Back to the Bayou.”  In addition, they released (nationwide) a 30-song, three-CD set entitled “Island Jam,” which has sold over 100,000 copies to date.   A second three-CD set entitled “Sun Jams,” was released as a follow up to “Island Jam” which includes guest appearances by Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band member Doyle Grisham, the legendary Gary US Bonds, and other well-known trop-rock musicians.  The band is currently working on an EP to be released in the near future.

One of the most requested Jimmy Buffett cover bands in the country, Jimmy and the Parrots perform not only all the great Buffett songs you love, they also play new and classic rock ‘n roll, as well as outstanding original songs written by lead singer/guitarist Jimmy Maraventano. Their cover songs include favorites by the Beach Boys, Zac Brown, Jerry Jeff Walker, Harry Belafonte, and Bob Marley, among many others.  The band truly appeals to all ages and all musical tastes.
